OC Feels Winds But Little Rain
Forecasters were certain that inches of rain would fall in Southeast Texas on Friday, but Orange County was spared of the heavy rain but not the winds. If you didn't lose power at all on Friday you were one of the few as strong winds went through the area, causing outages, mostly from fallen trees and limbs. Vidor Woman Indicted In Jeff Co.
The Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted a woman from Vidor for being the getaway driver in a theft. Beaumont Police report that on Dec. 31 at approximately 12:50am a man in a camo hoodie could be seen on camera behind the counter of the Honey Stop on Tram Rd. in Beaumont. One Hospitalized After Accident
An accident Thursday night, believed to be cause by brake failure, sent one to the hospital. A man was driving the pickup north on Hwy. 87 between Bridge City and Orange. As he approached the 87 and Hwy. 105 intersection, he realized his brakes were failing according to West Orange Asst. Police Chief Jessie Romero.
