The LCM Lady Bears won the 18-4A Track Title Wednesday after a close race with Bridge City. The Bears tallied 187 points to the Cardinals 179 for their third straight District Championship. Jasper was third with 64 points followed by Vidor 54, Silsbee 54, Lumberton 49 and WOS 33. Lumberton won the boys title 183 to 114 over WOS. Vidor had 95 points for third, followed by LCM 94, Silsbee 54, Jasper 45 and Bridge City 35. Dinah Tippins was High Point Girl for the meet. The new DuGood Credit Union that just opened on I-10 in Orange will have a neighbor soon. Discount Tire has begun ground work on a new facility on the Interstate. They currently have three locations in Beaumont, one in Port Arthur, and one in Lake Charles. According to their website, Bruce T. This week, the Orangefield boys golf team won their 4th straight District Title and the Lady Bobcats golf team, won their 3rd straight District Title at the 22-AAA District Golf Tournament, which was held at Wildwood golf course, Warren.
