Lynn was born in Orange, Texas but lived in Palestine, Texas with his wife Sally from 2005 to 2023. He passed away April 17, 2025. Lynn graduated from LCM High School in 1970 and went to Lamar University to earn his degree in History. Lynn was an avid gardener and upon retirement he spent most of his time outdoors creating a beautiful yard and a productive garden.
