Lynn was born in Orange, Texas but lived in Palestine, Texas with his wife Sally from 2005 to 2023. He passed away April 17, 2025. Lynn graduated from LCM High School in 1970 and went to Lamar University to earn his degree in History. Lynn was an avid gardener and upon retirement he spent most of his time outdoors creating a beautiful yard and a productive garden. Here are the Regional results from Saturday at the 4A Regional in Bullard and the 3A Regional in Huntsville. Orange County had several third place finishers on the medal stand but only the top two finishers advance to State in Austin. The exception is LCM's Dinah Tippins who will be at State with Orangefield's Zach Morrow. The UIL allows the best third place finisher among the four Regions to go to State and Tippins was third in the 200.
