Five Packing For State Meet

Five local athletes qualified for the State Track Meet after competing in the 4A Region III Meet in Huntsville.

LCM’s Eli Peveto won the 3200 (9:59) and the 1600 (4:37). 

Jared Dupree of WOS won the high jump at 6-8.

OF’s Brooklyn Goldsmith set a PR of 11-3, finishing second in the pole vault.

OF’s Bailee Click finished second in the high jump (5-4).

Deweyville’s Holli Shannon was second in the 110 hurdles at the 2A Regionals.

All qualify for the State Meet in Austin May 11-13.
