Oscar David Price of Orange, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. “Bunkey”, as he was known to family and friends, was born on April 24, 1951 in Cullman, Alabama to Hobert and Martha Price.
He moved to the area in 1978, where he became known for his expertise in repairing foreign and domestic automobiles. In 2004, he married Karen Fox. When he wasn’t working on cars, he would spend time gardening and spending time doing yard work. He also loved to spend time on his boat and could often be found visiting with friends at the Orange Boat Club. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by all those that loved him.
Those preceding Oscar in death are his parents; his sister, Elizabeth Price Lenning; his brothers, Gary and Harold Price and his stepson, Clayton Lynn Harrison.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his sons, David Price (Tiffany) and Brent Price; Stepson Donny Harrison; daughter, Charity Hartfield; grandkids, Christopher, Joseph, Caleb, Slade and Devin; sisters, Terri Hill and Karen Cook and numerous other family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Orange Boat Club at a later date.
