A 41-year-old woman told orange police a man she was with intentionally hit her with a watercraft Wednesday evening at Lottie’s Landing boat launch off DuPont Drive.
Police went to the Golden Triangle Emergency Center on Edgar Brown Drive at 7:40 p.m. The woman had gone for treatment of her injuries. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the woman had blood on a leg and in her hair from cuts.
She told police a 44-year-old man was preparing to load the watercraft when he intentionally gunned it to make it run into her.
A new-model 20-foot flatbed truck was stolen from Muller, Inc., off Interstate 10. Captain Enmon said the company’s fence was cut and then a lock was cut off the trailer.
The manager of the business called police at 7:20 Wednesday morning to report the theft, which happened about 4:30 a.m. The trailer is a 2021 black Legacy model valued at $3,355.
A pickup truck was stolen Wednesday from the Exxon station on Highway 62 South at FM 105. The victim went to the Orange police station at noon Wednesday to report the missing truck, described as a tan, 1997 Chevrolet Silverado with Texas license NMF3660.
