Mike and Cheryl Zeto were crowned King and Queen of the Ball. Mike works for the City of Orange as the IT Manager and Cheryl is the Chief Accounting Officer for The ITEX Group.
Other court members included The Duke and Duchess of the Emerald City DJ and Jessica Montgomery, Bobby Fillyaw and Dianne Stephenson as the Duke and Duchess of the Wild Red West, Duke and Duchess of Purple Reign Ray and Diztorsha Lavan, and Duke and Duchess of Darkness Michael Tran and Brielle Wolfford. The Captain of the Ball was Jessica Shoemaker. Krewe Des Amis De La Rue won the Spirit of Mardi Gras Award.
The theme this year is “Masquerade of Colors.” The parade will be held Jan. 30 in downtown Orange. If you’re interested in putting a float in the parade call the Greater Orange Area of Commerce.
