
The Orange Public Library is hosting a series of Summer Reading Programs for
readers of all ages!
This year’s theme, “Color Our World,” invites you to embark on a journey of art and creativity,
celebrating the myriad ways art enriches our lives. The program is designed to inspire and engage
readers of all ages through a variety of engaging, art-inspired activities that aim to spark imagination
and connect our community through creativity!
Programs:
- Preschool Read-to-Me: Wednesdays from 10:45 am – 11:15 am
- Elementary School (1st – 5th graders): Wednesdays from 10:30 am – 11:30 am
- Young Adult – Middle School (6th – 8th graders): Tuesdays from 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
- Young Adult – High School (9th – 12th graders): Thursdays from 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
- Adults: Summer Reading Challenge and activities on various dates throughout the summer
Readers can sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly
events. Attendance is not mandatory and is free of cost. Registration begins Tuesday, May 27th,
with the first program beginning on June 3rd. To participate, just read whatever you would like to
read at your own pace! No book reports are required. Upon registration, you will receive a book bag
and a reading log to record how much time you read or someone reads to you. Turn in your reading
log on and receive Library Bucks to spend at the Library Store or entries into prize drawings!
