On Thursday, September 8, 2022, the City of Orange Police Department was notified of a scam. A local business was contacted by someone who claimed to be with the City of Orange Police Department. The scammer requested funds for a “t-shirt” fundraiser that Orange Police was currently having. Orange Police is not currently having a fundraiser and is not asking for donations.
