Around 10am on Friday an Orange Police Officer was involved in an accident on MacArthur Drive.
The officer was eastbound when a man in a Toyota Tundra pickup pulled out of Katherine St. The patrol unit struck the back half of the drivers side of the pickup, spinning it around, and he struck a GMC truck traveling west on MacArthur.
The officer and the man in the Toyota were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The person in the third vehicle was checked at the scene by Acadian.
