A 20-year-old man was shot in the arm Wednesday night. Orange police learned about the assault at 10:48 from an emergency clinic where the man had gone to be treated.
Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the shooting is being investigated as an aggravated assault. The man told police he was sitting in a car at the James Zay Roberts Apartments, 610 Burton Avenue. He heard two men arguing and then heard gunshots. He said shots hit his vehicle and one hit him in the right forearm.
It was the second shooting in Orange in four days. A man living in a house in the 800 block of Cypress Avenue was shot in the leg during an argument Saturday night. A woman who lives in the same house, which is in the Old Orange Historic District, was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.
