The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on state Highway 62, south of Circle C Ranch Road, that occurred today, November 7, 2024.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 7:57 a.m., a Kia Soul was traveling north and reportedly crossed over into the oncoming lane and struck two vehicles which were traveling south.
The driver of the Kia was pronounced deceased on scene by a Justice of the Peace. Their information is not immediately available.
The two other involved drivers were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of injuries unknown. Their information is not immediately available.
This investigation remains ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
