A building that has been set for demolition by the city of Orange was set on fire Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters put the fire out in several minutes.
The old Jones Elementary School, which closed in 2003, was also a church at one time but has been closed and an eyesore for many years. It’s located on 14th at Link St
The fire is under investigation but its reported homeless people have been living inside. No one was inside when the fire was extinguished.
