TxDOT is replacing the bridge on Old Hwy 90 at Anderson Gulley. Travelers on Old Hwy 90 should see signs beginning Monday, October 23 advising of the project which is scheduled to begin demolition of the bridge on Monday, November 6. Old Hwy 90 will be closed to through traffic beginning on Monday, Nov. 6th. The approved detour is attached. Basically those traveling eastbound will be rerouted to Lynwood to Orange Street and then to Sargent Street in Vidor. Westbound traffic will turn on Sargent to Orange Street and then to Lynwood.
Widgeon Construction, Inc. is the contractor for the project. Weather permitting, they anticipate being finished by Christmas.
