The final beam is now in place for the new Orangefield elementary school building, the largest structure in their bond project. Before it was hoisted up, students and staff had the opportunity to sign the beam, leaving their permanent mark on this historic structure.
This “topping out” is a massive accomplishment that signifies the framing completion of the main structure.
OISD also has buildings under construction at the Junior high and high school following the passing of a $33.5 million dollar bond in 2023.
