Orangefield New School Year Information 2022-2023 Registration Procedures
For the 2022-2023 school year, Orangefield ISD will continue with an online registration process for all returning students. Online registration for returning students begins on July 27, 2022, through the Parent Portal system. All current students must have a parent/guardian complete this online registration prior to the student receiving their teacher assignment or schedule. Parents must have an Ascender Parent Portal account to complete the registration.
Directions for the Parent Portal account are located on the Orangefield ISD website. Computer access will be made available on campuses by request.
The online registration portion for students new to Orangefield ISD will begin on July 27, 2022. Directions for the initial online portion can be found on the Orangefield ISD website. The in-person portion of new student registration will begin at individual campuses on August 1. The following documents are required for registering new students: proof of residency (most recent water, electric, or gas bill), records from the previous school (preferably most recent report card), immunization records, birth certificate, social security card, and copy of a parent/guardian’s valid driver’s license.
Registration for new students is scheduled at all three campuses during these dates and times:

Monday, August 8 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Tuesday, August 9 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

August 8 – Orangefield ISD Meet the Teacher
Orangefield ISD will host Meet the Teacher for all campuses, to serve as student registration and teacher meet and greet prior to the first day of school. The schedule is as follows:
Orangefield Elementary School Monday, August 8, between the hours of 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Orangefield Junior High School Monday, August 8, between the hours of 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Orangefield High School Monday, August 8, between the hours of 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Orangefield Elementary School and Orangefield Junior High students will receive class schedules once all registration procedures have been completed and may meet their teachers at the above scheduled times. Parents/guardians can deposit money in their student’s lunch accounts on all three campuses on these dates. Spirit and other school items may be available for purchase as well.
Athletic Parent Orientation
All student-athletes in grades 7-12 must have a parent/guardian attend a meeting prior to playing in the first contest. Three Athletic Parent Orientations have been scheduled. See below for specific dates, times, and a location. Call 409-735-4504 for more information.

July 28 – Freshmen Parent Meeting

July 29 – Fish Camp
Fish Camp for incoming 9th graders at Orangefield High School will be Friday, July 29, from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM at the Orangefield High School Cafeteria. Call 409-735-3851 for more information.
August 1 – High School Class Schedules & Parking Permits
All students must have their online registration documents completed prior to class schedule pick up. Student class schedules and parking permits will be available for pick up at the high school during the following times:
10th Grade……………… 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
9th Grade……………….. 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
12th Grade……….…….. 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

August 6 – Orange and White Scrimmage
August 15 – Meet the Bobcats
The Orange and White kickoff scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday, August 6 at approximately 9:00 AM at F. L. McClain Stadium. Meet the Bobcats is scheduled for Monday, August 15 at 6:30 PM at the Orangefield High School Competition Gym. All parents, guardians, students, and community members are invited to attend this event to meet and support our 2022 Bobcats.

2022 Bobcat Football Tickets
Previous football ticket holders may renew tickets by mail before July 29. Tickets can be renewed in person at the Orangefield Athletic Field House between August 4 – August 5. Mail-in orders can be picked up between August 4 – August 9. Previous ticket holders may exchange or buy more tickets between August 10 – August 12. Tickets can be picked up at the Orangefield Athletic Field House between 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
The 2022 season tickets are available to the general public for purchase starting on August 15 at the Orangefield Athletic Field House between the hours of 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
Individual game day tickets will be sold online and at the gate. Links to purchase tickets will be available through the district website and social media closer to the start of the season. For more information, call 409-735-4504.
