
The State Spirit Competition is Jan. 4-6 in Fort Worth at the Convention Center and Orange County will be represented by squads from Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Orangefield, and Bridge City.
They are not the only teams from the area competing. Twenty other schools from Southeast Texas will be making the trip.
LCM finished second last year in 4A D1 with Lumberton finishing fourth. In 3A D1 Kirbyville was fifth and Orangefield 15th. Kountze was fourth in 3AD2 and Woodville was 12th. In 4AD2 BC was sixth, Silsbee 8th and Hardin-Jefferson was 9th.
