The Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a crash on state Highway 12, near Jennings Street, that occurred Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 8:55 p.m., a Vidor police unit was traveling east on S.H. 12. It is reported that the driver of a Dodge was traveling west and failed to yield to the police unit when making a left turn into a parking lot, resulting in a collision.
The driver of the police unit, identified as Officer Jonathan Woodard, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Dodge, identified as 30-year-old Dustin Brock of Vidor, and two children, identified as a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old, were not injured. One adult passenger was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
