
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats avenged an first round loss to East Chambers with a four set win at home Tuesday 15-25, 25-22, 25-7, and 25-17. For OHS: Kills- Greenlea Oldham 13, Mackenzie Haley 8, Lela Francis 5, Kylie Mouton 5. Digs- Harleigh Rawls 21, Hannah Block 13, Libby Thurman 10. Assists – Brianna Moore 18, Harleigh Rawls 17. Blocks – Kylie Mouton 1, Mackenzie Haley 2. Aces – Mackenzie Haley 4, Brianna Moore and Harleigh Rawls each had 2.
The freshmen won in 2 sets 25-10 and 25-19. Hallee Becker led the team with 6 aces, while Sophia Marino and Gabby White both had three. Becker added 5 digs and 2 kills. White added 4 kills and a dig. Mattie Owens had 3 kills, and Rilei Hass added 2. Brynlee South tallied 6 assists and White had 6.
The JV won in 2 sets 25-10 and 25-17. Paris Becker and Jaydin Agerton both had 3 aces, while Charlee Sanches added two. Becker led the team with 11 digs. Haylee Spears had a kill and a block. Ava Dyer and Agerton both had two kills on the night. Addison Moore led the team with 5 assists.
The Lady Bobcats will be traveling to Hardin on Friday. The varsity will play first at 4:30 with the JV and Freshman to follow.

On Monday night, the Lady Bobcats traveled to Kirbyville and brought their broom again!
The 7th grade B-team remained undefeated by beating the Kirbyville Wildcats in two sets. Addison LeBlanc and Melissa Saucedo led the team in serves with four four aces each. Maya Manning and Raleigh Forse dominated the net and added kills to the team’s win. Emma Bufford was a powerhouse on the court with her serve receives, kills, and serves. The Lady Bobcats finished the sets 11-15 and 13-15.
The 8th grade B-team was up next looking to defeat the Lady Wildcats. Amelia McFatter was the leading server of the night. She closed out the first set with 11 straight aces! Other leading servers were Ansley Toohey and Kenli Vacek with 2 aces each. Kenli Vacek led the team with two kills. Brynn Borel followed with a kill. The Lady Bobcats won in two sets, 15-5 and 15-8. The 8th Grade B Team has a record of 5-0 on the season!
The 7th Grade A-team defeated the Wildcats in two sets with the scores being 21-25 and 16-25. Leading the team in passes for the evening were Madilynn Chance, Laila Agerton, Zoey Harvey, and Paxton Oldham. These passers helped set up the front row for a successful night of kills. The top attackers were Laila Agerton with four kills, while Hanah Bisson, Ava Josephson, and Kinsley Moore each had two kills. There were multiple aces throughout the night with one of them coming from Avery Seals to close out the final match against the Wildcats! Teal Kibodeaux had six aces, Laila Agerton and Jocelynn Droddy each had four, while Aspen Babin, Madilynn Chance, and Kinsley Moore also added to the total aces for the evening.
To wrap up the sweep was the undefeated 8th grade A-team. The Lady Cats still hold that title after taking down Kirbyville in two sets, 25-10 and 25-10. Leading in attacks was Gina Ragusa- putting down clean kills from the right side. The leading server was Paisley Reeves, and contributing back row attacks and digs was Eliese Gravett. Mikayla Locke led in assists and was next in line as lead attacker. This was truly a team win as all Bobcats represented well and were in control the entire match. They extended their record to 5-0 in district!
