On August 21, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call regarding an unresponsive female at the 300 Block of Foxglove in Vidor. Upon arrival, deputies found Bami Elizabeth Carmane, 61 years of age, deceased inside the residence. After surveying the scene, deputies suspected Bami’s death was not due to natural causes.
Adrian Ceasar Echevarria, 48, who was recently released from prison, was interviewed and is a person of interest in Bami’s death investigation. Adrian was arrested by deputies for unrelated State and Federal parole violation charges and transported to the Orange County Jail. An autopsy on Bami’s body was conducted with the cause and manner of death pending further investigation. This continues to be an active investigation
