The Orange County Drainage District is getting $500,000 worth of state help to plan, design and build a drainage improvement project. The plans also include removing debris left in Adams and Cow bayous after Tropical Storm Harvey.
The Texas Water Development Board met Monday and approved $500,000 in loan forgiveness from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
The board is the state agency working with state water plans and offers financial help for construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
