The City of Orange Fire Department took delivery of a 2016 Ferrara pumper on December 8th. The new pumper is replacing a Spartan pumper that was purchased new by the City in 1993. With the changes in technology and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations, the new pumper was designed to meet or exceed these standards. It features a 2000gpm pump, carries 750 gallons of water and has all LED lighting which proves invaluable when having to work an incident at night.
