Orangefield Independent School District Superintendent Shawn McAlpin has announced promotions for several educators within the district.
Corey Sheppard – Elementary Principal
Mr. Sheppard is an Orangefield High School graduate. Last year, he returned to Orangefield High School as the assistant principal. He is married to Danielle, who also graduated from Orangefield High School. Danielle is currently a teacher at the junior high campus. They have two children.
Rea Wrinkle – High School Principal
Mr. Wrinkle was formally the junior high school principal. Other positions he has held in the District are assistant high school principal, head basketball coach, and teacher. He has been with the District for fifteen years. Mr. Wrinkle is a father of three, and he is married to Amber.
Kimberly Smalley – Director of Primary Curriculum and Instruction
Mrs. Smalley has been with the District for twenty-two years. She started her career at Orangefield ISD as an elementary teacher. She brings years of experience in curriculum and instruction. Mrs. Smalley has three sons, who attended Orangefield Schools. Her husband, Josh Smalley, is currently the athletic director.
Zach Quinn – Director of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction
Mr. Quinn has been in the District for seven years. He has served as the elementary principal for three years and high school principal for four years. He has a total of seventeen years’ experience in education. Mr. Quinn is married to Amy, and they have two children.
