Nancy Jo (Rock) Shirley, 74, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, in Beaumont, Texas. Nancy was born on March 5, 1951 in Jasper, Texas to Louis Franklin Rock, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Goff.
Nancy was the social butterfly of the family. After working for Orangefield ISD for 12 years, in the school cafeteria, she lovingly became known in the community, as the owner of Nan’s Floral & Wedding Designs.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Sabrina Ann Shirley.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, George Ben Shirley; her son, George Ben Shirley Jr.; grandchildren, Micah, Noah and wife, Micaela, Gage, Grayson, Skylar, and Spencer; and her sister, Georgia Ann Hopson.
A memorial service to honor Nancy will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.
