Orange County saw the worse of Harvey so far Monday morning when the area received 2-6″ of rain in less than 2 hours, starting between 5-5:30am. Many people reported to KOGT that they haven’t seen water reach certain areas before, with many reporting some water in their homes or garages.
Major streets and intersections were flooded for several hours. The picture above show an Acadian ambulance that flooded out at the I10 and 62 intersection.
Many in Orange have also reported sewage backing up or toilets flushing slow because the water has no where to drain. You are asked not to wash clothes or use the dishwasher until the water recedes.
