
The basketball schedule is a little different this week with Thanksgiving on the way.
Bridge City hosted Orangefield and the two battled to a 33 all tie at the half. In the second half the Bobcats pulled away from the 67-51 victory.
Jaden Scales lead the Bobcats with 25 including 8-9 from the FT line. Elijah Jones had 15 and Rylan Agerton had 14. For BC Garcia had 12, Jiriyah Jennings had 9, Ayden Bush and Braydon Denison had 8.

3-0 start on the year to the Vidor Pirates who defeated Anahuac 80-50. Standout Players: Eric Baker – 32 pts 3 stls, Lazaro Lugo – 12 pts, 5 ast, & 5 rebs, Caden Beavers – 10 pts, 10 rebs.

The BC Lady Cards move to 6-0 with a 73-31 win over West Hardin

The LCM Lady Bears took on the Tarkington and won 40-26. Maya Meadows had another solid night, pulling down several boards and notching a season high 20 points. Paityn Golden and Asia Woodson each had 5.
The JV lost a close one 26-23. Top scorers on the night were Jada Smith with 6 and Addisyn Wiley with 7.
The Lady Bears will travel to East Chambers Tuesday in a varsity only match up that will begin at 11:00AM.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats took on the Lumberton Lady Raiders and came out with a solid 54–42 win. Mikayla Locke led the way with 16 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Brooklyn Wagoner added 14 points, 4 steals, and 2 rebounds, and Olivia Smith chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals to help secure the victory. JV battled hard but fell 52–32. Maddie Breaux finished with 13 points and 9 rebounds, while Piper Pollet added 7 points and 2 steals. Brooklyn Bishop contributed 4 points and 2 rebounds. The Lady Bobcats will be on the road Tuesday to close out with the PNG Lady Indians right before the Thanksgiving holiday.
