The Mauriceville Middle School Band brought home a Sweepstakes trophy from Concert and Sight-Reading Contest today. The group received Superior (1) ratings from all six judges! There are 3 judges in performance and 3 in Sight-Reading. Kathy Smith is the Band Director for MMS.
The Little Cypress Junior High Band came back from UIL Concert and Sight-Reading with a Sweepstakes trophy on Wednesday, March 31. They performed The Red Cape, Japanese Pictures and Pinnacle at the contest, held at Groves Middle School. The Directors are Daniel Wilhelm and Jessie Winecoff.
