
The NAACP in Orange held their MLK March, honoring and celebrating Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was held on Monday morning in downtown Orange.
The March began at Salem United Methodist Church and concluded at the Riverfront Boardwalk. The event featured the West Orange-Stark High School Choir. Rev. Benny Smith was the guest speaker. Others who spoke included Mayor Larry Spears, James Ross, Rev. John Jefferson and Pastor Ronnie Crockett.
The 2024 theme was “Communities in Action, Empowering the Dream.”
