Micheal Wayne Green was born July 28, 1955, to the late Theo C. Green, Jr., and Mrs. Mary Z. (Jolivette) Green. Raised in Orange, he was a 1974 West Orange High School graduate. Upon graduating, he worked for Superior Tires for a few years, then for Temple-Inland, where he worked until retirement. In 1984, he united in marriage to Belinda Mims, and three children were born from their union.
He and the rest of the Green family were Mount Olive Baptist Church members. He later became an active member of Community Christian Church, where he served as an Usher for many years in Orange, Texas, and later joined Christian Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA.
A man of hard work and diligence, he worked in the shipping department for Temple-Inland for over twenty-five plus years. An ever-loving and dutiful father, he later relocated to Lake Charles, LA, to be closer to his daughter and three beautiful granddaughters. It was the joy of his life in later years to pick them up from school each day. He was deeply loved and will be missed by those who knew him.
