James Menard and Rahul Patel win the State Boys Doubles TAPPS 1A championship for the second year in a row. Menard and Patel had an impressive showing at the State tournament, taking the first round against Lubbock Christian Academy 6-1, 6-1, moving on to overcome Wichita Falls Christian Academy 6-0, 6-0. In the semi-final round the Lions took out the San AngeloCornerstone Academy 6-0, 6-2 and roared on to victory with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Longview Trinity.
The Community Christian Lions Boys team, which includes Jacob Carter also won third place state team trophy.
