Mac was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a 1962 graduate of Lutcher Stark High School. After graduating, he joined the United States Air Force where he served his country for several years including serving during the Vietnam War. Mac was a hard worker and worked diligently to provide for his family. He worked at England Air Force Base and was a HVAC Specialist and an Electrician. Mac was an avid outdoorsman and had a passion for hunting and fishing. In his later years he enjoyed spending time at his camp on the Mermentau River, He also loved to spend time with his family and cooking. Mac was known for his inapt ability and knowledge in buying, repairing, and selling automobiles, especially Toyota 4-wheel drives. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. When Mac was a young boy, he and his father assisted people in the Little Chenier Bayou after hurricane Audrey. Little did Mac know. He would later purchase a camp there in his adulthood. As his health declined, he could no longer enjoy his camp but found joy in watching his son and granddaughter race. Mac was a kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
