Melinda K. Degay 52 of Orange, Texas passed away on December 29, 2017 in Galveston, Texas after a illness. Melinda was a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas and a member of Starlight Church of God in Christ. She was loved by family and friends in the community. Funeral service will be on Saturday February 3, 2018 at Starlight Church of God in Christ located at 2800 Bob Hall Rd in Orange, Texas. Service time begins at 11:00am. Visitation begins at 9:30 am til time of Service. Funeral services under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel. Melinda leaves to cherish her precious memories her son, Cletus Degay of Orange, Texas. Five brothers, Avery Degay of Port Arthur, Texas. Kenneth Degay, Warren Degay, Gregory Degay and Ralph Degay all of Orange, Texas. Two sisters, Tammy Degay Self and Billie Gant both of Orange, Texas. She also leaves behind two Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
