In loving memory of Matthew James Authement, born on December 10, 1985 in Orange TX and passed away at the age of 39 on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Matt was a big personality, had a big heart, gave big hugs, and ended conversations with ‘I love you’. His selfless act of organ donation that saved multiple lives is a true testament to his compassion for others.
He was an amazing, loving brother to his sister Christy, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him was his grandmother Janice Dickerson, uncle Mike Fountain, and Grandfather Jackie Authement Sr.
He is survived by his father Mike Authement, mother Denise Dickerson Authement, Grandmother Barbara Authement, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation and Mass will be at St. Francis of Assisi in Orange on Friday, September 19, 2025, with visitation from 10a-11a and Mass starting at 11a.
We will forever hold your memory in our hearts. You will be dearly missed. May you rest in Eternal Peace- We love you.
