The Celebration of Life for Mary Jean Chargois, 70, of Houston, Texas will be Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 3 pm at Mount Calvary Baptist Church located at 612 North 3rd Street.
Mary was born and raised in Orange, Texas. She was called Home to God peacefully in her sleep on March 2, 2022.
Mary had been a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was always willing to serve whenever she was needed. She loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Mary was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only Heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithfulness have had on her family, friends, and her community. She had a giving, generous heart, and was glad to help anyone wherever she could.
Mary is survived by her twin sister, Martha Jackson, of Beaumont, TX, two sons, Jeffery Chargois and Christopher Chargois (Christina), and her daughter, Naomi Chargois Edwards (Roderick) of Houston, TX.
Mary was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
