The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary (Antoine) Sellers, 70, of Orange, will be held during a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese Catholic Church, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10am.
Rite of Christian Burial will follow at Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
On March 23, 2023, the Angel of the Lord called on Mary Ronnel (Antoine) Sellers, born on April 10, 1952, to Nolan and Theresa Antoine in Lafayette, La.
She was a 1971 graduate of Lutcher Stark High School in Orange, TX.
She met and united in marriage with Lorenzo Sellers on January 28, 1985. They shared 39 years together until God called her home.
One of her favorite things was always spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Mary loved everyone; she never met a stranger; she was always willing to give her last at any time. Mary spent many of her earlier days at Blue Bird’s Fish camp, enjoying the time fishing and just hanging out with friends. Mary had a sweet soul and will be missed by her family and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Nolan and Theresa Antoine, her son Reginald “Devo” Antoine Sr., and one brother, Nelson Antoine.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Lorenzo Sellers, four grandchildren; O’Shea Antoine, Savon Antoine, Reginald Antoine Jr., and Erica Antoine, all of Orange, two great-grandchildren; Deshea and Brianna Antoine of Houston, TX, two stepdaughters; Dee Simmons of Rayne, La.and Shonda Simmons of Orange, two sisters; Peggy (Frederick) Green of Orange, and Samantha (Henry) Green of Houston, TX, three brothers; Paul Craig (Rhonda) Antoine Sr. of San Diego, CA, Martin McSeano (Cassundra) Antoine Sr. of Texarkana, TX, and John Rico Antoine of Houston, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
