Firefighters in West Orange were busy Friday afternoon dealing with an out of control fire that started near the end of Bowie Street.
The wind spread the fire into the marsh where firefighters couldn’t get to it. Fortunately it continued to burn itself out when the marsh met the water.
The origin was not given but it was the second fire that got out of control this week. Firefighters battled a 100 acre fire in Vidor on Wednesday.
