The State Powerlifting Championships were in Abilene this weekend and Vidor’s Riley Marlow is coming home as the D2 220 State Champion. Marlow’s three lifts totaled 1790 pounds.
His teammate, Kaiden Welch finished 10th in the 165 pound class, setting to new PR’s in the process.
Orangefield’s Akillies Garcia finished third in the D3 220 Division with a total of 1690. Diego Garcia of OF was 13th with 1495.
In the D2 308 class BC’s Nick LeJeune finished 8th at 1700 and Carson Phelps of LCM finished 10th with a PR total of 1670.
