A 40-year-old man from Orange was shot twice in the arm early Monday morning. He told police he had been driving on 16th Street when it happened.
The man went to Exceptional Emergency Center in the 1300 block of 16th Street. Personnel at the center notified police at 12:46 a.m.
Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the man told officers he does not know who would shoot at him. He also told them he is not interested in pursuing charges.
Enmon said the bullet wounds look like they came from a handgun. Besides having the two shots in the arm, a bullet grazed his chest. Police report a side window in the car was broken, apparently by bullets.
