On December 25 at 01:46 AM, the Orange Fire Department and the Orange Police Department were dispatched to 6820 FM 1130 (across from LCJH) in reference to a fully involved house fire with a subject possibly trapped inside. After their arrival at 01:50 AM, the Fire Department extinguished the flames and located James Wooten, a 70 year old male inside the residence. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Judge Stagner. The house fire and fatality are under investigation by the Orange Fire Department and the Detective Division of the Orange Police Department.
