That’s two stores in Orange robbed by armed men within 48 hours, but police do not think the same man did the crimes. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said investigators do not think the Honey Stop robber was the same man who robbed the Dollar General on 16th Street North near Allie Payne Road Saturday night. That robber had a pistol to threaten the clerk. He was wearing a hoodie and had a cloth covering his face. At this time, police do not think the Honey Stop robber is the same man who wore women’s clothes to rob the Chase Bank on 16th Street in November. Anyone with information about the robberies should contact the Orange Police Department detective division at 883-1095.
