Bridge City Police say the driver of a Ford Mustang died Monday morning after crossing the center line and striking a Ford F-250 pickup.
The accident happened around 5am. The Mustang, driven by 22 year old Luis “Wicho” Martinez, was traveling north on Texas Ave. when he crossed the center lane, striking the southbound F-250 near the LaQuinta Inn.
Martinez was transported to a Beaumont hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the pickup was treated and released with minor injuries.
