On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Detectives with the City of Orange Police Department obtained two arrest warrants for murder in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred on May 26, 2025, in Orange.
The following individuals were arrested:
• James Williams, a 24-year-old black male of Beaumont, Texas, was taken into custody by the City of Orange Police Department.
• Robert Bill, a 21-year-old black male of Stafford, Texas, was taken into custody by the Houston Police Department and Harris County Constable Precinct 3.
The City of Orange Police Department extends its sincere gratitude to the West Orange Police Department, the Beaumont Police Department, and the Beaumont Police Department Real-Time Center for their assistance throughout the investigation.
