On Wednesday, May 29 at approximately 10:00AM, investigators with the West Orange Police Department along with investigators with the City of Orange Police Department conducted a search of a residence located in the 2200 block of Bonnie, street in West Orange.
During the search approximately five and a half pounds of high-grade marihuana along with THC vape pens and a quantity of THC wax were discovered.
The white male resident was identified as David McKnight. McKnight, 52, was arrested and charged with a 3rd degree, felony possession of marihuana and booked in to the Orange County Jail. A Third-Degree Felony is punishable by 2 to 10 years in Prison and a $10,000.00 fine if convicted.
The search and arrest were the result of citizen complaints and an investigation by the West Orange and Orange Police narcotics divisions.
