On Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, at 1:10 PM, officers with the City of Orange Police Department were dispatched to the 7000 block of FM 1130 in reference to a suicidal subject.
Upon arrival, officers were able to establish communication with the subject and began negotiations. Shortly after, the subject was detained without incident.
After further investigation, the suspect was placed into custody for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. He has been identified as 60 year old Keith Reed. This is still an ongoing investigation being handled by the City of Orange Criminal Investigation Division.
