He passed Sunday, July 18, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX.
A 1967 graduate of West Orange High School, he resided in Orange all his life. His high school days will be long remembered. Mack was usually at school “in a suit”.
He was a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and served with the Hollywood Community Cemetery Board.
Hard working always, he was a Self-Employed Roofer, owner and operator of Mack Toler Enterprises.
To say he was known by many, would be an understatement. Everyone knew “Mack Toler”. Whether at work or home, people were always around him. He had his own way of making you laugh, giving you a piece of his mind, or telling you the right way of “fixing that roof”. Whether times were good or not so good, his love of people never changed. The memories shared with him, brief or over months or years, will forever remain with those who crossed his path.
He is survived by 4 sons, Mack Toler, III, Mackolas Toler (Melissa), Bretlin Toler and Harold Redo, all of Orange, 6 daughters, Bonnita Toler-Albert (Samuel) and Aleshia Toler-Levi (Robert) both of Houston, TX, Mickia Toler of Orange, Jessica Toler-Cormier (Duane) and Loretta Jacobs both of Baytown, TX, Suetta Jacobs of Beaumont, TX and Shantel Stevens of Arbor, TX, 31 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
