
Lynn H. Lovelace, age 68, of Orange, Texas, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, in Orange, Texas. Services honoring Lynn will be held at 12:00 PM., on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6108 Hazelwood Dr., Orange, Texas, 77632. Visitation of family and friends will be held prior to services from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment, at Lovelace Cemetery, will be held at a private time reserved for the family.
Lynn was born September 29, 1955 in El Dorado, Arkansas to proud parents Cecil and Ila Lovelace. He met the love of his life , Tina Lovelace, and was married for fifteen blissful years to her. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and worked for DuPont/Dow Chemical for 37 years. Lynn took great joy in working in his yard and making it immaculate. Lynn’s greatest joy was spending time with his family – his wife, sons, stepsons, grandson and granddaughters, siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews, all brought him so much joy. One of his favorite pass times was watching his beloved sports on TV while eating a huge bowl of ice cream and drinking Dr. Pepper, going to watch the Houston Astros play ball or stopping by his favorite pawn shop on a daily basis.
Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ila Lovelace and brother, Tolly Lovelace.
He is survived by his wife Tina; sons, Jace (wife Claudia), Bret (wife Lauren), Eric (Ashley), Clay (wife Honora) and stepsons Jace and Jordan; brothers Ronnie (wife Dolores), Barry (wife Debbie); sisters, Cecilia (husband Michael), Pam (husband Jack), Lisa, Jayne (husband Jeff); granddaughters Addison and Juliette; grandson Colin and many nieces and nephews.
Honoring Lynn as Pallbearers are Jace Lovelace, Eric Lovelace, Clay Lovelace, Bret Lovelace, Jace Peveto, Chris Wolfe.
Lynn will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all that knew and loved him.
