Born January 26, 1930 in Mount Enterprise, Texas, to Oshia Williams and Jake Green, Oshia moved to
Orange, Texas, where she made a home and raised her family. She was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, and community member who impacted everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Eaglin, and her three siblings, Alice Teal, Sally Bray, and
Ezell Green, all of whom she loved dearly.
Lucille retired for the third and final time in 2021, having committed her life to service and care for others. She devoted countless hours as a volunteer at Orange Christian Services and as a foster grandparent at North Early Learning Center, where she left a lasting impression on many lives with her warmth and compassion.
Lucille’s legacy lives on through her loving children: Jimmy Williams, Jacky Williams, Alonzo Williams, and
Yolanda Green. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-
grandchildren, along with a host of cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Her light will continue to shine in the lives of all who were touched by her kindness and grace. Lucille’s
memory will be treasured by her family and friends, as we hold close the love and lessons she so generously shared. Offer sympathy expressions at sparrowfuneralhome.com
