
Loretta Kay Phillips, 81, of Vidor, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at her residence.
Loretta was a native of Jackson, Tennessee and a longtime resident of Vidor. She was a member of East Gate Pentecostal Church in Vidor and spent her life caring for her family as a loving homemaker. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed working puzzles, reading books, and most of all, spending cherished time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Smith and husband James of Colmesneil, Texas; two grandchildren, Chandra Pattie and husband Keith Thomas, and Bradley Phillips and wife Jessica; three great-grandchildren, Lyndsie O’Brien, Ashleigh Goodwin, and Kayleigh Allison; and eleven great-great-grandchildren, Tristan, Brendan, Hudson, Blake, Haleigh, Luca, Jackson, Henry, Reagan, Amelia, and River.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Phillips; her daughter, Denise Phillips; and her grandson, Bryan Phillips.
Loretta will be remembered for her quiet strength, faith, and the deep love she had for her family.
