Loraine D. Veal passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025, with family by her side at Memorial Herman Medical Center in Houston, TX.
Loraine D. Veal was born in Orange, TX on November 9, 1957, to Samuel White Sr. and Annie White of Waterproof, LA.
She was full of life and always spreading laughter and joy when she entered any room. Loraine spent many years working in customer service and management. She adored working with the public and people. Loraine was known for never meeting a stranger. To know her was to love her. Her energy was contagious, and she was a self-proclaimed favorite aunt.
Loraine enjoyed cooking shows, sitting on the porch, and her snacks. She loved her snacks, and her family often teased her about having snacks available at any given moment. Loraine loved her family and spending time with her sisters Bonnie and Annie. Their sleepovers were something she looked forward to. It was a time for them to watch movies and enjoy each other.
Loraine is survived by her sister Bonnie White Brown, sister Annie Lee Wilkes, nephew Joseph White (Amanda), nephew Eurise LeBlanc, niece Danetta Armstrong, niece Tricia Stroud (Chad), Giesela White, and Raymond White Jr., Great nieces and nephews: Brandy White, Joseph White Jr., Brianna White, Kaylyn Roberts, Christoper White, Elijah White, Pashunce White, and London Stroud. She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Annie White, her brothers Sylvester White, Samuel White Jr., Larry White, and Raymond White.
A memorial service will be held on April 3rd, 2025, at 1:00pm at Colonial Memorial Chapel located at 1512 N. 10th St., Orange, TX 77630.
