Thursday morning an 18-wheeler carrying logs attempted to make the turn from Hwy. 12 to Hwy. 87 but the big rig flipped on its side, spilling the logs.
Crews were on scene most of the day cleaning up the logs while a large wrecker truck up righted by rig. A witness at the scene said the driver did not receive any serious injuries. Despite spilling the pine logs, traffic was able to go around the wreckage.
